National Youth Day

Every year the college celebrates the National Youth Day on the 12th. January to commemorate the birthday of Swami Vivekananda. It is celebrated with great fan and fervor. This year also the college celebrated the youth day on 12/01/2023.
It is actually held as a 2 day festival. On the previous day that is 11th January a quiz competition is held among the students. This is conducted to make the students aware of the importance through the vision of Swami Vivekananda. This year it was conducted Mr. L.N.Narsiah Sir.
Every year a monk is invited from the Ram Krishna Mission who is the chief guest of the programme. This year the chief guest was He spoke extensively on the life and times of Swami Vivekananda. The students enjoyed the program and got to know about Youth Day and its relevance in today’s context.
Student Council Elections

Elections are a part and parcel of a democratic society. The students of college also elect their student representatives who would put up their issues and provide solutions to the students. This year the college held their elections for the student council on 07/01/2023.
The students were elected as
1. General Secretary
2. Joint Secretary
3. Cultural Secretary
4. Sport Secretary
5. Green Secretary
6. Discipline Secretary
In this manner the students elected their representatives for the academic year 2022-2023. It was a learning experience for the students.
Christmas Day/ New Year Celebration

Christmas is a very important festival for the Christians all over the world. Keeping this in mind our college also held a small function for the students of B.Ed to enjoy the same.
This was held on 30/12/2022 this year. One of the students had dressed as Santa and distributed gifts to the students and teachers. In this manner the college tries to promote secularism in the college premises. Students were dressed in beautiful dresses and enjoyed to the hilt.
Diwali Celebration

Diwali is a very important festival of India. This year the college organized the Diwali celebration for 2 days. On 18/10/2022 students participated in diya making and on 19/10/22 the students participated in greeting card making activity.Students and teachers were all decked up beautifully in their traditional attire.
The college also held a stream of other activities as a part of Diwali Celebration. These were dance, singing, anthakshari etc. this way the students and teachers enjoyed themselves.
